Beach Clean-Up In Thailand

We were enjoying a morning walk on Nopparat Thara Beach in Krabi, Thailand when we came across volunteers from Projects Abroad cleaning up the beach. We chatted with them and were impressed with what they were doing for our environment.  After walking for a short distance we realised how badly the beach pollution was and ran back to get a garbage bag to help clean up some of the plastic bottles, glass bottles, plastics and styrofoam.  We have found that Thailand needs a lot of help and education about plastics and rubbish in general.  Thanks to Projects Abroad for taking action.
